EWS Labs Equipment

      Welcome to the Engineering Workstations (EWS) Laboratories at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. You will find on this page an outline of the equipment available to you at each of the EWS Labs.

Grainger
Engineering
Library 		      The equipment in 057 Grainger includes 30 SUN Ultra 60's, 5 SUN Ultra 2s, 5 HP B2000s, two HP Laserjet printers (gllas1, gllas2), one Sun Workstation maintained for visually impaired users, and one machine maintained for mechanically impaired users. For instructional purposes, there is also an overhead projector.

Hall - Unix 		      The equipment in 406 B1 are 22 Sun Ultra 10s, 8 Sun Ultra 60s, two HP Laserjet printers (ehlas1, ehlas2), and projector/audio/visual system.

Hall - Win2k 		      The equipment in 406 B8 are 40 Dell Precision 220s, 2 HP Laserjet printers (ehlas2 & ehlas3), 3 CD writers, scanner, and a projector/audio/visual system.
Everitt
Engineering
Building 		      The equipment in 252 Everitt includes 47 Sun Blade 1000s as well as 2 HP Laserjet printers (eelas1, eelas2), and one workstation for visually impaired users.

      The equipment in 1009 MEL includes 29 HP C240s, one HP Laserjet printer (melas1), and projector.

Laboratory 		      The equipment in 2145 Newmark includes 30 HP B2000s, 31 Dell 420 NT Workstations all with 250 MB zipdrives installed, 3 CD writers, scanner, HP Laserjet printer (celas1), and a HP Color Laserjet (cecolor1).

Lab 		      Located in L426, the DCL EWS lab contains 33 Sun Ultra 2s and 42 Sun Ultra 5s.
