I am originally from Chatham, IL
(Just outside of Springfield )
and I am
currently a senior at the University of Illinois
at Urbana - Champaign majoring
in
Materials Science and Engineering.
And unfortunately, as a consequence of being a student in
the College of
Engineering,
I rarely find time to work on things like homepages.
OK - So I don't spend all of my time studying. But I do try to optimize
what free time I have. I am currently Vice President, and I have served as treasurer
for my Fraternity - Theta Chi.
I also served as treasurer for the University of Illinois Metallurgical Society
(UIMS). These two positions keep me plenty busy outside of scholastic
work. I am a student employee for CCSO, as site manager of the
mechanical engineering laboratory of the
Engineering Workstations.
I also conduct
undergraduate research for the Materials Research Laboratory with Professor Jim Adams,
a faculty member of Arizona State University, formerly of UIUC.
With graduation on the horizon, I have accepted a position with The Timken Company in
Canton, OH, to work as an engineer in their Plant Operations Support group. Timken is a
world leader in the manufacture of industral bearings and specialty steels.
