Conflict Exam Requests
Our Conflict Exam Policy
Once you become aware of a conflict to our scheduled exam, you
have to
notify us of your need to take our conflict exam. You should
consult the code (see http://admin.illinois.edu/policy/code/)
to
determine procedures, deadlines, and your rights regarding evening
exams.
You can take our conflict exam if another exam is scheduled for
the
same time that ours is. You may have a scheduled rehearsal
or
performance, a regularly-scheduled lab, or
University-sanctioned
athletic event that prevents you from taking the evening
midterm
or final exam or the conflict exam on the stipulated date. We'll
make
special arrangements for you.
We have had so many abuses of our policy that we now will take
points
off your test score should you notify us of your need for a
conflict
within 3 days of the midterm. We really need more notice!
Tell us
as soon as possible!
When you register your conflict exam, give us as much specific
information about your conflict as possible, including (where
applicable): a class or event name, a professor or supervisor's
name,
and an e-mail address of someone who could verify the event (ie: a
TA).
How conflict requesting system works:
You just download the form on this link
, fill it out and e-mail it to (Atanu Khan
ta5cs101@cs.illinois.edu
). He is
going to
contact you after you send an e-mail to him.
