Even though I was born and raised in Illinois, I am 100% Indian. I am first generation American in my family. My parents came from India during the mid-70’s. With them they brought all of the traditions and values of the Indian culture and they instilled them upon me and my siblings. Here are some pictures that is a part of the Indian culture. They are different variations of the symbol Aum, which means inner peace. This is the symbol that represents the Indian culture and religion to the rest of the world.
