I am a sixth year graduate student at
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
in the Computer Science department,
although I like to hang out in the
Math department a lot also.
I am in the theory
group; my
advisor is Jeff
Erickson.
Specifically, my interests are computational topology, computational
geometry, the external memory and cache oblivious models of computation,
and various algorithmic and combinatorial problems as they come.
I'm on the job market! See below for my CV, research, and teaching statements.
Currently, I'm co-teaching CS 173 this semester. I've taught CS 273 twice, and I've been a TA for CS 473g and CS 473ug .
I'm married to Jeff Chambers. We have a little girl, Grace, and a guinea pig Boca. In my spare time, I read a lot of books, watch various TV shows, and drink tea.
