Biography
I am a fifth-year Ph.D. student in the Data Mining Research Group, Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I work with Professor Jiawei Han. Prior to coming to UIUC, I received my M.Phil. degree from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2003, and B.S. degree from Zhejiang University in 2001. I am expected to graduate in May 2008.
Research
I have a broad interest in data mining research. My primary research interests include: efficient pattern mining algorithms, discriminative frequent pattern-based classification, as well as mining results post-processing and understanding.
