My primary interest lies in the area of mobility engineering.  I would like to work at a firm dedicated to advancing the engineering of mobility systems.  My interest in mobility engineering can be seen through my course work, outside activities, and my personal hobbies.  As a student of mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I have elected to take courses that enhance my knowledge of mobility systems.  I am actively involved with the UIUC chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineering and help out with the UIUC Formula SAE project.  My personal hobbies include racing, flying, and building radio controlled vehicles and robots.  To further understand what the professional engineer does, I have decided to take up a Coop at Honda Research and Design in Raymond Ohio starting in May 2005.
