2004 Ford Design Contest – Designed a new product feature to the Ford Focus vehicle – Presentation to Ford Engineers
2004 UIUC Formula SAE Car – 32nd/134 teams – Researched four wheel steering technology and application to FSAE –
            Began plan for 2005 promotional video – Worked on carbon fiber lay-up of body – Participated in driver training
2004 AMD Jerry Sanders Creative Design Competition – All freshmen team – 8th/24 teams – $2000 budget
2004 International Engineering Fellowship Project – Created publicity website for IPENG at UIUC
2004 KIT Project – Four week long vehicle project with a student from KIT – Communicated in Japanese and English
2003 Science Olympiad Robot Ramble Project – 1st place in the state of IL – Innovative design with tight budget

EXPERIENCE
2003-2004
    Tom Ohtomo Dental Laboratory Chicago, IL
        Computer and Network Technician
            -Created and maintained an entire small office network of six computers using the latest technology networking peripherals
            -Maintained network and computer integrity and reliability with constant upgrades to both hardware and software
            -Recommended all purchases related to the computing at the office and upon approval ordered and handled all transactions
            -Performed system support through the internet and checked each computer for problems and solved them quickly
2000-2002
    USA Hockey Illinois
        Illinois Hockey Officials Association Ice Hockey Official
            -Officiated youth ice hockey games sanctioned by USA Hockey as a registered level 2 official for the state of Illinois
            -Ensured the safety before, during, and after the game for players, coaches, and fans on and off the ice
            -Worked closely with the league and everyone involved to ensure adequate officiating throughout the course of the game
            -Learned to make quick decisions and to deal with people who will oppose those decisions

        Home Theater Product Specialist – sales representative
            -Successfully set up the store and opened it in time for the scheduled grand opening date (became top store in region, 2001)
            -Voted most valuable home theater sales representative in August 2001 by members in the department
            -Trained four new employees in the home theater department and helped them adjust to the Best Buy culture
            -Provided customer service on all home theater products and resolved in-store disputes between customers and Best Buy
