This is a full report of my academic performance since I entered high school at Blue Valley Northwest in August of 2000 until today where I am currently a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  During high school, I was also taking some classes concurrently at Johnson County Community College.  To the best of my knowledge, this record is complete.  Some course titles may not be exactly identical to the titles appearing on transcripts.  In any instance that that is the case, it is done so that this page is the most self-consistently clear without confusion.   All course numbers refer to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign numbers.   In general, courses are listed in reverse chronological order with the most recent courses being first.  Some of the AP classes allowed me to obtain credit at the University of Illinois, but those courses are not currently shown.

*Math 415 refers to the course numbering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Transfer credit was granted for Math 225, a lower-level version of Linear Algebra at UIUC, but credit for Math 415 was obtained by demonstration of proficiency by examination.  A grade was not issued for the proficiency exam.   The grade refers to the Johnson County Community College course grade.

**Health was taken as a self-paced, online correspondence course sponsored by the University of Missouri and transferred to Blue Valley Northwest to fulfill the health graduation requirement without forcing a semester of high school to be devoted to it.

AP Performance Summary

I took a great number of AP exams while I was in high school.  For my accomplishments I was designated an AP Scholar with Distinction in 2003.  In 2003, I was elevated to the designation of both a National AP Scholar and one of two State AP Scholars for my home state of Kansas.  These designations recognize academic mastery of a wide ranges of subjects.  In particular, National AP Scholars have successfully completed at least 8 exams with a grade of 4 (out of 5) and an overall AP average of 4 on all exams taken.  State AP Scholars are the two students, one male and one female, in each state that, first, successfully passed the greatest number of exams and, second, had the greatest AP average.  After taking 17 unique** AP exams my AP average was 4.31/5.00.*

Exam Score Date Taken UIUC Equivalency
Biology 5 May 2003 MBC 150 (Molecular and Cellular Basis of Life)

*When computing AP averages "half-year" exams, ones that should require one semester of study, count as for half as much as a full-year exam.  Half-year exams that I took include: Comparitive Politics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, U.S. Government, Physics C: Mechanics, Physics C: Electromagnetism and Psychology.

**Both sections of Physics C were taken during both my junior (2003) and senior (2004) years of high school.  The first year (2003) I recieved a score of 3 on Mechanics and 4 on Electromagnetism and improved this in 2004 to a 5 on Mechanics and 4 on Electromagnetism.
