15 August 2005 - Please feel free to use the Windows Update Repair Utility batch file I have created for Windows XP, 2000 and Server 2003, if you're having problems getting Windows Update to run on your machine.

2 August 2005 - Created a virus and spyware eradication page.   Arash Ferdowsi and Mikhail Kats deserve some inspiration credit since they thought of this idea awhile ago.  Best wishes to them as they go about making their proposed webpage a reality.

27 July 2005 - I was pleased to be notified that I have been recognized on the Dean's List for the College of Engineering for my performance in the Spring 2005 semester.

13 July 2005 - I have completed the port of a text-based Connect Four-playing, artificially-intelligent agent written in JAVA to a GUI version written in Microsoft's Visual J++.  It is currently available for download by anyone interested along with a brief description of how it works.  Please visit the ConnectFour page for more information.

16 June 2005 - I was pleased to receive a call from the American Humanist Association yesterday informing me that I had been awarded 3rd place in the 2005 Humanist Essay Contest for my essay, "The Synthesis of Individualism and Holism in Environmental Ethics," which I wrote in connection with Professor McKim's "Religion, Ethics and the Environment" course in Fall 2004 with the UIUC Campus Honors Program.

18 May 2005 - All Spring 2005 grades available.  Summary: 4 A+'s, 2 A's, 1 A-.   Semester GPA: 3.98.  Cumulative GPA: 3.96.

9 May 2005 - Final Exams began.  Analog Signal Processing was the first one, followed by Mechanics and Relativity on Monday with Honors Seminar in Physics on the horizon at 1:30 on Tuesday.

27 April 2005 - The second exams week is over and my scores are posted.  Summary: 99.2% Mech/Rel, 98% in both Computer Engineering, 98% in Statistics and 83% in Analog Signal Processing.  See the course status page for more information about that.
