I return back to Champaign and prepare for my summer semester. There are
not many people at University of Illinois at this time, because lots of students
leave Champaign to do interns.

I go to Hang Zhou, China with my parents. The scenery of the West Lake
is really charming and fantastic. I will post some pictures in my MSN space.

I was born in Shanghai, China's largest and most comprehensive commercial city. In June 2006, I received my bachelor degree of Electrical and Information Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. From August 2006, I am a graduate student of Eletrical and Computer Engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a research assistant at the Coordinated Science Laboratory. I'm now working in the area of computer networks and multimedia processing. My research advisor is Prof. Benjamin W. Wah, Franklin W. Woeltge Endowed Professor.
Currently, I'm doing researches in multimedia processing and transmission in computer networks. My research focuses are multimedia coding, loss concealment and VoIP conferencing system design.
